It all begins with an idea.
Nursing America was created with a single purpose: to recruit qualified nurses from Mexico and Canada into high-paying jobs in the United States. Our priority is to ease the immigrant experience and set our nurses on the path they envisioned for themselves.
Our team will assist you in navigating the entire journey from certification to immigration and relocation. Most importantly, we will sponsor qualified applicants. This means we will pay your legal visa and moving costs.
Leaving your home, whether temporarily or permanently, can be incredibly stressful. We understand how exciting and difficult this decision can be. That is why our organization specializes in supporting you not only through the immigration journey but also afterwards, when you are getting settled in your new home away from home.
We partner with the best hospitals and medical organizations to create job opportunities. And of course, we recruit the best nurses in the industry!
Our CEO and Founder
Oscar Martinez was born and raised in Mexico City. He and his family moved to the United States during a difficult time in their lives. Oscar received an undergraduate degree from Trinity University in San Antonio and a master’s in business administration from Harvard University in Boston. In the years since Oscar graduated, he has held many senior executive positions with many successful companies across top cities in the United States. Oscar is the Vice-Chairman and Treasurer of Casa de Salud, a non-profit organization that offers healthcare services to immigrants to the St Louis community, which gives him a sense of community by connecting him to his hispanic roots.
Understanding the advantages that immigration can offer hard-working professionals, Oscar created Nursing America to help nurses from Mexico and Canada. His vision is to create community and belonging among the nurses that come through the Nursing America program.
Oscar is a proud husband and father of three sons. He enjoys hiking, skiing and watching sports. Mostly, he celebrates his Mexican heritage by cooking and eating his favorite delicacies, just like his abuelita and mom used to make.
